Salary

from 2 200 EUR/month

This is a legal monthly minimum required to be stated by the Slovak law. Offered salary varies based on relevant experience and skills. Plus: Annual Salary Bonus based on individual & company performance.

Your role

This position offers the opportunity to step into a one-year fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension. The role covers a parental leave and provides full ownership and responsibility within the QA Analyst team from day one.

As a part of our QA Analyst team your main responsibility is to make sure that the product the team delivers is of sufficient quality. This includes refinement of the requirements, documentation of them, writing test cases, establishment and execution of test plans based on the current priorities, and reporting test results and any found bugs. You participate in daily stand-ups and team ceremonies such as introduction and overview sessions for new projects and features that are on the table. As a QA Analyst/Tester, you will primarily report to your Technical Lead and QA Lead.

You will

Manually test applications with focus on design aspects, functionality and usability and user-friendliness.
Execute manual and automated test scripts.
Cooperate with the team on creating test scenarios and test plans in a deadline- focused environment.
Communicate with the team about test results and possible improvements.
Prepare data to test, update and improve existing test cases.
Understand technology of the features you will participate on, so that you can efficiently test each part of the solution.
Help determine the root cause of issues, be able to resolve testing issues and drive issues to closure.
Apply BDD practices to document business requirements by writing executable specifications and test cases that adequately cover the required functionality.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience; significant experience can substitute
At least 3 years of relevant QA/testing experience
In-depth knowledge of QA processes, manual/automation methodologies, and software development life cycle
Ability to make decisions about testing results
Experience in testing browser-based web applications
Analytical approach to tasks, understanding the impact of quality beyond testing
Knowledge of tools (like Gauge, Gherkin, Playwright, IntelliJ, Jira or similar) and SQL
Ability to use browser debugging tools
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery is a plus
Written and spoken English skills (B2 category)

As a Quality Assurance Lead you are Subject matter Expert in quality standards and industry best practices and your main goal is the long-term success of our QA process. You take responsibility for the collective growth and development of the QA team and organization, provide leadership to QA team members with complete accountability for the delivery of multiple business unit projects and lead, influence, communicate and interact with people of all levels across the organization.

Interview

HR Interview (HR interview to assess role expectations and cultural fit.) Technical Interview (Interview with our Senior Engineers or Tech Leads discussing your participation in previous projects, experience with technologies). Might include live coding session where necessary.

Step 5:
Executive Interview

The last part of the interview process is a discussion with one of our Vice Presidents.

Duration and necessity of individual rounds may vary depending on the type and requirements of the position.
